THANK YOU SUPPORTERS
Dear Friends and Supporters:
Lynn, Brighton and I are so thankful for all of your help! I am very honored that you have put your faith in meto be the next Judge of County Court at Law #6. As I look forward in fulfilling the vacancy left behind by Greg Willis, Collin County's next District Attorney, I am excited about the direction our community is taking. Lynn, Brighton and I just want to say THANK YOU for all your support!
I also want to thank my opponents in this race. Having been a competitive athlete since junior high, I know that the quality of the win is directly related to the strength of the competition. I am very honored to have been in this race against some very worthly adversaries.
Thank you so very much for everything!
Warmest Regards,
Jay Bender

We made the Run-Off
As I said before, we will get out spent but we will not get out worked. Well we were behind in the early voting numbers, but all of our hardwork paid off yesterday. An amazing voter turn-out helped pull us into the run-off. Now we are in for that final push to the finish!!!! Remember BENDER ON THE BALLOT for the run-off election April 13th!

Heritage Alliance grades me an "A"
The Heritage Alliance has published their voters guide. I received an "A" with my opponents receiving either a "C" or "D".
The grading was based upon research conducted on the candidates as well as a questionnaire completed by the candidates. However, even though the candidate chose not to complete the questionniare, they could still receive a grade as high as a "B".

The Final Push!!!! Early Voting Starts Tomorrow!
We had a great day of campaigning today. I was able to meet some great people at 2 different retirement communities.
While I was doing that, my wife Lynn decided to take advantage of people being at home for President's Day and knocked on 75 doors in our neighborhood with our son Brighton. She met some wonderful neighbors.
Tonight, we went to polling locations in the county and put up a few signs.
Early voting starts tomorrow!! Please get out there and let your voice be heard!!! I would really appreciate your vote!! There are a lot of offices up for election, but please make sure you remember Bender on the Ballot!!

Neither Rain nor Sleet nor Snow......
My family and I decided to take advantage of the snow day by walking another precinct. Each time we talk to people in the community, we are always amazed at how small the world is. This week, I met a man who lived in the same neighborhood I grew up in, a woman who went to my elementary school and had the same 5th and 6th grade homeroom teachers, and of course, the military service connection runs deep.

Jay Bender has a strong educational background: graduating cum laude from Austin College after which he graduated from St. Mary’s Law School. He has worked in the Dallas District Attorney’s office as a prosecutor and been in private practice specializing as a Criminal Defense attorney. When he was asked why he was running he said to give back to the community. We found Mr. Bender is well qualified to serve as Judge in County Court at Law #6.
WE RECOMMEND: Jay Bender
